The New York Times reported today that designer sunglasses are quickly replacing handbags as the luxury item of choice for teenage girls and young women. Apparently, we are suffering from "it bag fatique" - and have run out of closet storage space for all of the handbags we have accumulated. I tend to agree, I have recently been eyeing sunglasses that come with ridiculous price tags while at the same time I have boxed many of my bags. Instead of alternating bags daily as I've done for years and years, I have been using the trusty longchamp bag everyday. However, I will NEVER be able to afford sunglasses that cost 4 digits. Thats ridiculous.
