the little forest

Where some see a discarded toilet paper tube, others find art. Yuken Teruya has created "Corner Forest" out of nothing more than an empty toilet paper tube- and I thought I was clever giving them to my pet hamsters as a child so they could burrow in them. The more you hang, the bigger your forest grows. Very cool. Teruya creates art out of everyday items to reflect on contemporary society.

wall monograms for renters

Sunny's Goodtime Paints is literally RIGHT beside my hairdresser- where I've been going for years- and while I've always loved their logo, I never had any idea that they had anything other than paint. These adhesive monogram wall designs are made to look as if they have been painted right onto the wall with a flat finish - yet are completely removable! I've always loved monogrammed anything, and I've seen this done in guest rooms and its a great personal touch.

Sheepish Art

Wondering what to do with the old rotary style phones lying around? Here's a thought, create an art exhibit. These are sheep constructed out of rotary phones - the entire phone is used for the head, the bodies are the phone cords, and the hooves are the handsets.
